The product centers its visual narrative around the "Pixiu" (a traditional Chinese mythical beast). The design concept draws inspiration from the pun "Shi Lai Yun Zhuan" (meaning "food brings fortune," which sounds identical to "the turning of luck"). In ancient folklore, the Pixiu is revered as a wealth-attracting and treasure-guarding creature, widely believed to ward off evil, stabilize the home, and turn adversity into blessings. By integrating this profound symbol into a modern EDC form, it transcends its function as a mere fidget toy, becoming a portable talisman and a symbol of auspiciousness.

Moving beyond conventional surface treatments like spray-painting or die-casting, this piece features micron-level precision engraving. This ensures the intricate details of the Pixiu's facial features and scales are rendered with vivid three-dimensionality. In terms of materiality, we utilized a two-tone inlay of brass and red copper.
