Hello everyone, this is METEOR Studio, today we would like to introduce our first product, with the concept of "functionality, sophistication, fun", TC21 titanium alloy lighters – “Fire Armor”
This time a total of four different appearance of the product style, for players to choose.
- Product Introduction
Design:
First from the product material to talk about this product, TC21 is one of the biggest highlights of this product, titanium alloy material has been the mainstream material in the EDC circle, especially this time our products are made of military-grade TC21 titanium alloy to create the material's hardness, toughness and corrosion resistance and other comprehensive attributes are better than TC4 titanium alloy.
The shell of the product uses the whole titanium alloy CNC engraved one-piece molding, compared with the zippo shell made of die-casting stamping process, the overall strength is stronger, the processing details are more complex, the precision of the whole machine is a downward strike. Due to the characteristics of titanium alloy material with high corrosion resistance, abrasion resistance and other advantages, so compared to stainless steel, copper, aluminum shell, more able to withstand a variety of harsh environments and the baptism of time.
The thinnest wall thickness of the body is 1.75mm, and the thickest wall thickness is 4.0mm. The material used is very solid, and there are only a few armor machines on the market that can reach this size. Processing details we also achieved the ultimate, CNC high precision to ensure that the body and the inner liner of the perfect fit. The tight fit of the cover when closed also minimizes the volatility of kerosene.
The bottom surface of the body is printed with the pattern of our METEOR studio LOGO by CNC process, as well as the product name and serial number.
The specification parameters of the body: length 60 x width 36 x thickness 13mm, this slim version of our redesigned and processed armor machine, compared to the ordinary slim version of the ZIPPO lighter, the grip will be more excellent.
The hinge adopts the form of 2+1 integrated processing and punching, compact structure, to achieve basically no gap fit, in order to ensure that the body open and close the smoothness of the premise, optimize the product's overall play experience.
We use modern machining technology to make the chamfering more accurate and uniform, and this kind of clear-cut design can highlight the three-dimensional sense and visual experience of the work. In the old days, when ZIPPO was born, it was cast in open molds to realize mass production and create a product legend. But this kind of processing for the modern industry, I have to say that it is no longer very perfect. If you have ever played with a genuine ZIPPO, you know that rough edges, large gaps, wobbling, closing deviations and so on have become the norm. These shortcomings we can through modern industrial technology, with CNC engraving to improve the correction, the details to do as perfect as possible. Simply put, this is the flip-flop lighter style, we do not want to stick to ZIPPO's original design style to do a different material shell, we want to do is: the use of existing technology, to reflect the beauty of industrial processing.
- Product Functions
In terms of functionality, we have given this old buddy a whole new look with new age design concepts and craftsmanship based on the traditional kerosene lighter. Giving it features such as ignition, flint storage, slider, tritium gas tube and more.
Why do we need a narrow machine?
Because of the size, the titanium armor lighters on the market are all based on the standard model, but because the size of the standard liner is already not small, and then with the thick armor shell, the overall weight and size of those machines will be more exaggerated, and the feel of the hand can no longer be said to be too comfortable. And by using a narrow machine with armor, it not only satisfies the thick and heavy armor shell that everyone likes, but also keeps the overall control at a comfortable size that can be easily controlled by one hand.
Give the product design highlights: such as flint silo, such as push cards, all need the same space thickness to accommodate these things, on this basis, we are afraid that if we then use the standard model of the inner liner to make, to the hands of everyone is a behemoth. Therefore, we have adopted a narrower inner liner to design this piece.
The current feel is closer to that of the standard ZIPPO, and it also solves the problem of the original narrower version being too small to hold. It can be said to optimize the shortcomings of both the narrow and standard ZIPPOs at the same time.

Why do this design?
I as a lighter collection and enthusiasts with many friends of the machine together to discuss, our daily use process, there is no oil in mind, probably have a memory, know when there is no oil. But we never know which day the flint is gone, this time it is very agonizing.
I have the honor to participate in the product design this time, this problem has been optimized, we reserved a spare flint storage compartment on the right side of the lighter, when the flint fails, it can be quickly replaced, so that we are more convenient and efficient.
Slider
Lighters as our essential tools, will from time to time to play, open and close it, but play for a long time will also feel monotonous. Combined with the reference of EDC circle and consulting the opinions of many senior players, we added the push function on the left side of the body, and the push surface is engraved with horizontal lines and stripes, which can play the role of non-slip, and it will be more texture and easier to push.
Our design is because the lighter is a very practical thing, many people need to lighter this object, we combine the push cards on it, this two-in-one armor machine balances the play and practical. It can add more experience and fun for players.
DIY Tritium Tube Tank
Tritium tube natural light, no need to charge with batteries or sunlight, maintenance free, at least 25 years of life, we reserved two rows of 2*12mm tritium tube slots can be DIY personalized options.
I believe that the brothers who have bought ZIPPO, more or less have dropped the lighter, every time you go to the bar to drink, eat late-night snacks, because the environment is dim, confused, will be the lighter missed, we designed these two tritium tube slots a biggest role is the size is large enough, the area is large enough, can let everyone in the night, but also to find the lighter, and also not to be lost. It's a thoughtful little design, but it also fulfills the value that tritium tubes are supposed to represent. Flamboyant or understated is up to you, allowing you to look for unique items just for you at a glance in the darkness of the night.

We made a batch of materials different from the original pushcards
G10 material, it is a composite material composed of glass fiber and epoxy resin.
The main features are insulation, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance, and physical properties that fit perfectly with the lighter.
As we all know, color is a very expressive visual language, so we use the collision of two colors, silver gray and orange, to produce a strong sense of chromatic aberration, forming an intuitive, sharp visual impact.
