| Perfect Curvature​

Perfect Curvature is a new product line branch following the Fruit Series. In the Fruit Series, we celebrated the aesthetics of order.

In Perfect Curvature, we begin to explore another dimension—the curve. We have always believed that curves are more elegant than straight lines. Breaking free from the constraints of linearity, we use curves to express the softness and vitality of natural creation—like the lingering ripples left by wind sweeping over sand dunes, or the fullest moment when a water droplet is about to fall. The beauty of curves lies not in dazzling forms, but in their ability to endow rigid metal with a near-living tenderness and warmth.

| Design Inspiration​

Liquid represents Handpois' inaugural entry into the realm of finger spinners. Building upon the genes of Perfect Curvature, Handpois positions it as a minimalist, finger spinners. Within Liquid's design language, metal sheds its rigid stereotype, transforming into full arcs and profound curves. Light and shadow no longer refract abruptly but gently adhere to the surface, flowing like water along the curves as their riverbeds—this is the origin of the name "Liquid.

| Form​

Before imbuing the product with the "liquid" material, our goal was to refine the form to its utmost potential. Starting from the initial sketches, we meticulously advanced the contours, segments, and cutouts—each critical curve evolving in accordance with a rhythmic progression of curvature. When every detail was harmoniously resolved, it felt as though we had uncovered a mathematical law. From that point onward, any attempt to alter the curvature resulted in jarring and distorted adjustments.

| Contours​

In profile, the weight of Liquidis deliberately oriented outward to emphasize a distinct sense of heft. Thus, starting from the segmentation, the form sinks inward, where weight appears to accumulate. The contour of the cut-out follows the logic of curvature, trimmed at its lowest point to reduce mass and accommodate the placement of the bead.

The side of Liquidis its only flat surface, extending vertically along the contour’s curvature to form two parallel, precise edges—giving the form a clean and disciplined closure.

Every contour of Liquidthus feels natural, complete, and flawlessly resolved.

| CMF​

CMF is a crucial design feature of Liquid. The Liquidconsists of seven distinct components and incorporates two different finishing techniques, which inevitably increases production costs and amplifies challenges in assembly and balancing. Yet, we believe the ultimate texture is not about mere brilliance, but the harmony between light and shadow. Thus, we employ ​polishing​ to capture the trajectory of light, and ​sandblasting​ to anchor the weight of shadow.

Afterword​

We know that many of you who have followed Handpois have been aware of Liquidfor quite some time. We are also acutely aware that this wait has turned out to be far longer than anyone anticipated. Here, we will spare you the lengthy details of the challenges encountered. But please believe us when we say that everything we've done throughout this process was not born from complacency, but from a persisting pursuit of "perfection."
